Welcome to my style consultation service. I offer private online consultations to help with any style questions or challenges when building or developing your wardrobe. You can save yourself money and time, whether you’re:
– planning a shopping trip locally or in London, New York, or Saigon
– getting married or attending a special event
– starting your first serious job or refreshing your wardrobe

Why ask me?

I’ve commissioned dozens of suits over the years, from structured 3-piece suits to unlined linen casual suits for tropical heat. After 20 years in Shanghai — where temperatures swing from 44ºC to -3ºC — I’ve built a wardrobe that works from the cold winds of Dublin to the humidity of Singapore.

My long relationships with tailors and years of study, from both their craft and specialist books, have given me a grounded, practical understanding of menswear. While I enjoy YouTube like everyone else, my knowledge comes from firsthand experience and the written word — sources that are tested and reliable.

How much does it cost?

I prefer to think of it as saving rather than costing you money. Suits and tailored clothing can be quite expensive, and you don't want to waste money choosing the wrong fabric or the wrong style for your personality and needs. A small amount of money spent up front will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

1-hour online consultation €50
This is suitable for many gentlemen who don’t have much experience but have a plan and want solid advice before approaching a tailor or buying off the rack. This includes some pre-call questions to prepare advice for the session.

3-hour package €135
This can be split up into three separate hours over a period of time to perfect building and developing your wardrobe. Very useful, particularly for anyone approaching a tailor who needs help or advice before, during, and after the process.

Custom packages are also available on request.
