The Little Princess
Though the Queen asked this time for a sensible child
The King felt her whims could not be reconciled
The new princess was moulded with authoritative intention
But did nothing but read in the library of invention
The Queen was unhappy, thinking each child was weak
And declared her offspring Petty, Foolish and Meek
But the King showed her how in their charms to engage
And so they named them Beauty, Spirit and Sage
